Delta Epsilon Mu (ΔEM, or DEM) was founded on the grounds of Binghamton University in New York during the Spring semester of 1996. The founding fathers united their interests in building a professional co-educational, pre-health fraternity, which could serve Binghamton University students by exposing them to professionals from various health fields. They wanted to inform students about current health issues with the intent of helping students choose a field of interest following graduation and beyond. A large part of the fraternity's interests were focused on serving the community by uniting people of different age groups, ethnicities, religions, and ideologies, who were all joined by a common interest in the health fields.

Delta Sigma Pi's Xi Rho Chapter is GW's home for students who want to grow into driven, capable business leaders, together. Founded nationally in 1907, DSP now connects nearly 300,000 alumni across 296 chapters. We blend professional development with genuine brotherhood, giving members hands-on leadership experience, career-building programming, and a support system that lasts well beyond graduation.

At the core, our chapter runs on four values: brotherhood, professionalism, scholarship, and service. That mix is what sets DSP apart. It's less about the title and more about the people who show up for you, in class, at work, and outside of both. Our brothers have gone on to firms like Goldman Sachs, BCG, Bain, Google, and the U.S. Department of State, but just as important are the friendships and mentorships that stick around long after college.

That combination of professional growth and real community is what DSP is built on.

GW Bhangra was founded in the early 90s, making us the oldest competing collegiate bhangra team in the nation. Bhangra, a beautiful traditional folk dance of celebration, originates from Punjab. We compete around the country, though most of our time is devoted to performing around campus in the GW community, and spreading awareness of Punjabi culture through the DMV area. We also perform at private events as per request (just simply email gwbhangra@gmail.com).

We are not just a dance team, but a family, and we welcome people of all backgrounds, nationalities, and interests to add to our already diverse and fun-loving team. We love Bhangra and we strive to spread our passion for it everywhere we perform.
